More than 500 moderators and hosts across different communities have been testing Reddit Talk since the platform introduced its competitor to Clubhouse and Twitter Spaces in April 2021, and Reddit is looking to grow that number and spice things up for those already participating.
Redditors can apply to join the Reddit Talk Host Program, which will kick off July 11 and provide participants with offline rewards including an exclusive Reddit Talk hoodie, microphones and a special Reddit Talk trophy, as well as online benefits including helping people discover their communities by showing their Talks to relevant audiences at the top of the feed, along with invitations to a private server with other Talk hosts and Talk team administrators.
