Instagram officially introduced two new options Wednesday allowing users to view their feed in chronological order: Favorites and Following.

Testing began on those two new options in January.

Favorites displays the latest posts from up to 50 accounts chosen by the user, and that list can be edited at any time, with no notifications going out to accounts that are removed from the list.

Accounts on the Favorites list will also be displayed higher in feed, along with a star icon.
