BlackBook is back. The magazine that folded in 2013 under former owner Vibe Media, has been resurrected by its founder/creative director, Evanly Schindler. Fittingly, the first revamped BlackBook cover features Pope Francis, a man who loves him a good rising from the dead.
Schindler—along with Jon Bond of Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners—bought BlackBook from Vibe Media last summer. The revamped magazine will be biannual and features larger images, a cleaner layout and thicker paper stock. Hunter Hill serves as publisher and Aaron Hicklin as editor.
