WSJ Revamps Mergers & Acquisitions Team
The Wall Street Journal has put in place a new team to cover the M&A beat, according to a memo from managing editor Robert Thomson obtained by The New York Observer.
Gina Chon, who formerly covered Iraq for the Journal, and Anupreeta Das, who joins the paper from the M&A desk at Reuters, are now senior reporters on the merger beat. Asia reporter Alison Tudor will now be reporting from Hong Kong.
The Observer also reports that Dennis Berman, deputy editor of the Money & Investing section, will be staying at the Journal.
