In the latest prime time ratings, American Idol came in win, place, and show for the week ending March 6.

Idol, which airs on WNYW/Fox 5 in New York, held its first live broadcasts of season 10. They averaged 1.8 million Fox 5 viewers with a rating of 9.1, according to the Nielsen Company.

The Fox 5 News at 10 used its Idol lead-in to crack the Top 30 twice. The Thursday night newscast had a number 14 showing (722,000/3.6). The WNYW signature newscast with Ernie Anastos and Dari Alexander also tied for 30th following the Wednesday night Idol.
