  • According to an ABC News release, “Nightline” continued its growth “in both Total Viewers and the key Adults 25-54 demographic.” Compared with the same week a year ago, “Nightline” is up a 16% in total viewers and 11% among adults 25-54.

  • An MSNBC release states that “with 26.7 million unique visitors, NBC News continues to dominate the Nielsen//NetRatings monthly online rankings. During the month of September, MSNBC.com topped all other TV news sites including CBS News Digital Network, ABCNEWS Digital, CNN.com and Fox News Digital Network.”

  • Washington Whispers reports that former Sen. Fred Thompson “turned up on ABC Radio last week during the first of two weeks he’s taking over” for Paul Harvey. Also from Washington Whispers, Howard Dean shares how he really feels about FNC: “I happen to despise Fox News because I think they’re nothing but the propaganda arm of the Republican Party.”
