Strike Watch: Whoopi Goldberg Sent Out Hot Chocolate To Strikers
Today the writers strike moved to The View studios at ABC on West 66th street. Among the strikers were: WGA picket perfect attendance award winner Seth Meyers, Law and Order’s Warren Leight and Tom Fontana. ”Whoopie Goldberg sent out hot chocolates for the striking writers, and after the show, she, Joy Behar, Bill Geddie and several other staffers stopped by the picket line briefly,” emails Sherry Goldman, WGA East spokesperson.
