Vice shuffles staffers in advance of its nightly show on HBO. Vice News founding editor in chief Jason Mojica will be head of international coverage for the program. Ryan McCarthy, who had been assistant editor on the national news desk at The New York Times, replaces Mojica. Meanwhile, Javier Guzman, Christina Vallice, Jessica Weisberg and Dan Fletcher join Vice in various capacities. “What Dan, Javier, Ryan, Ravi, Christina, and Jessica have in common is an admiration for Vice, a love of great stories, and an awareness that viewers demand we be inventive in the way we tell them and visualize them,” wrote Vice News evp of content Josh Tyrangiel in a memo.
