'Precious' Cleans up at Spirit Awards
“Precious” won every category it was nominated in at the Independent Spirit Awards in downtown Los Angeles last night, taking home five awards in total. The ladies of Precious were especially victorious, with Gabourey Sidibe winning Best Lead Female and Mo’Nique winning Best Supporting Female. Precious also won Best Feature, Best Director and Best First Screenplay awards.
FBLA favorite “Anvil!: The Story of Anvil” picked up the award for Best Documentary.
