– You got to somewhat love what Patch is doing. Despite numerous critics that claim Patch’s business model is untenable, it keeps adding more sites. Editor-in-chief Brian Farnham defended the site today saying all the naysayers is a good thing for Patch’s business. “It may keep competitors from coming after us,” said Farnham to the Boston Phoenix. “People can do the math from their vantage point, but we know what we know, and we’re hell-bent on proving that a Patch can work in any community.”
