New York Times Magazine editor in chief Jake Silverstein wants everyone to know that the magazine is not in danger of folding.
“Cutting print mag and book review not even a subject of discussion at NYT. Laughable,” tweeted Silverstein. “NYTMag and book review not going anywhere.”
Silverstein’s vote of confidence came in response to a New York Post report that the Times was looking to cut costs, and therefore considering shuttering the Times Mag and making the book review online-only.
