In an interview with The Australian, News Corp CEO Robert Thomson talked-up the power of newspapers, avoided a question about a Fox Sports-Foxtel merger and explained that values are baseless and life is completely meaningless.
“I’m never happy,” Thomson replied, when asked if News Corp was pleased with its assets. “Happiness is weakness. The minute you are satisfied you are complacent. I try to avoid happiness at all costs.”
Jesus. Who knew Thomson was such a nihilist. Someone buy the guy a beer or six.
