National Journal Adds Editor

Jeff Dufour joins the team.

National Journal has named Jeff Dufour editor of real-time news. DuFour comes to the magazine from UrbanDaddy, where he served as DC editor.

DuFour previously worked for The Washington Examiner and The Hill.

“In this position he [Dufour] will take charge of What We’re Following, our constantly updated news and analysis briefing tool,” wrote National Journal managing editor Ben Pershing in a memo to staffers. “We expect Jeff to immediately enliven WWF with his smart and distinctive voice, while taking the lead in devising innovative ways to make it a better and more useful product for our readers.”

Dufour begins his new role December 7.
