LAT Announces 300 Will Be Laid Off, Then It's Stalled Because of Chapter 11

Times are tough. If you work at a major metropolitan general newspaper – you’re wading through a daily blood bath.

So LAT brass announces 300 jobs will be axed (70 in the newsroom).

When? Uhm. Soon?

Apparently because the Tribune Company filed for bankruptcy there is a whole process to these things.
