LAT Announces 300 Will Be Laid Off, Then It's Stalled Because of Chapter 11

So LAT brass announces 300 jobs will be axed (70 in the newsroom).
When? Uhm. Soon?
Apparently because the Tribune Company filed for bankruptcy there is a whole process to these things.
