LA Writer and Editor Martin H. Bosworth Dead at 35

martinbosworth.jpgConsumerAffairs.com’s managing editor Martin Bosworth has died at the age of 35.

ConsumerAffairs.com tells us:

Martin H. Bosworth, ConsumerAffairs.com’s managing editor, died at his home in Los Angeles yesterday. He was 35 and had been ill for several months.

Bosworth, a graduate of Boston University, joined ConsumerAffairs.com as a free lance reporter in Washington, D.C., in 2005, later becoming a full-time staff member. He was named Managing Editor in 2008 and in 2009 led the transfer of the Web site’s editorial operations to Los Angeles.

Bosworth wrote in his bio on his website:

Contrary to the typical stereotype of a writer as a shut-in misanthrope laboring over their keyboard, bitterly cursing the world, I’m a very social animal who loves parties, gatherings, discussions, and events. How else are you going to write about the world if you’re not living in it?

The picture was taken at a DC Mediabistro mixer in 2006.

Our condolences to his family and friends.
