LA Times Tops WaPo's Web Traffic

The Washington Post used to take great pains to brand itself as having the most trafficked free newspaper website in the country. They can’t say that any more. According to the latest comScore data for July (figures are in millions), the LA Times just topped the Post in unique visits.

New York Times: 32,394
Los Angeles Times: 16,720
Washington Post:16,282
USA Today: 15,397
Wall Street Journal: 14,132

The Post notes on its On Media blog that the Times is the only major newspaper to grow its web traffic from June 2010 to June 2011.
