Former associate director in the White House Office of Public Engagement, Kal Penn, was trolling CNN pretty hard Thursday afternoon.
Penn, well-known for his role in the “Harold and Kumar” film series, posted a picture on Instagram that showed headlines of both CNN and Vice News that read “Report: Kim Jong Un had 15 officials executed” and “Reports About North Korea Executing 15 Senior Officials Might Be Bullshit,” respectively.
On the image, Penn commented “I love when @vicenews keeps it real.”
Yikes.. Should be noted, however, that the report claiming the North Korean dictator executed 15 members of his top brass has not been proven, nor disproven — and in Vice News’ own words — it has “yet to be determined.”
