Jared Shapiro Named EIC of Ocean Drive
Niche Media has named Jared Shapiro editor-in-chief of Ocean Drive. Shapiro most recently served as editorial director, news and entertainment, for In Touch and Life & Style. He had been with Bauer Publishing, parent of the latter two titles, since 2005.
“Jared is a well-recognized entertainment journalist with deep relationships with the Hollywood community, and a first class reputation for combining integrity with news,” said Mandi Norwood, editorial director of Niche Media, in a statement. “His broad range of experience and creative energy will continue to solidify Ocean Drive’s position as the premiere lifestyle publication for the sophisticated and socially active audience.”
