Following yesterday’s publication of his much-anticipated memoir proposal, Jared Paul Stern dropped us a line to explain why the pitch did not contain a Ron Burkle chapter: “When this book comes out in 2008 who the hell is gonna want to read about some doughy old degenerate ex-billionaire?”
Perhaps no one. Still, that’s like a Barry Bonds book proposal skipping the Balco Years.
