Hulu CEO: We'll Survive "If We Fly Coach And Use Cardboard Boxes To Hold Up Our Monitor Stands"

We missed this yesterday but had to share it anyway: Hulu CEO Jason Kilar was interviewed by Quentin George on Hulu’s business model. The argument by analysts is that Hulu’s costs (streaming high-quality video) are so expensive that there’s no way the company can make money.

Kilar’s response? Economies of scale, and frugality, means narrow profit margins, but profit nonetheless.
