Don’t tell the editors of Beverly Hills 213, but Southern California might be getting a new area code soon. The Daily Breeze has the most complete coverage, but the Canyon News has the funniest person-on-the-street reaction quote:
“What I don’t like is the idea that my children can be living in my house but have cell phones of a different area code,” says Wanda Mitchell, mother of four and a Santa Monica resident.
I’m honestly confused– does Mitchell actually call her childrens’ cell phones when they’re in the house with her?
