FNC Producer Helps Organize Haiti Fundraiser
This Friday, a group of friends calling themselves “Do Good, Feel Good DC” (DGFG) will host an event at Local 16 called “Friday for Haiti” to benefit Oxfam America’s Haitian Earthquake Response Fund.
And they live up to their name: There will be free Absolut and Jameson cocktails from 6:30-8:00 p.m. and free beer for the duration of the event, until 10:30 p.m.
Among the group’s members is a Haitian-born man whose family is in need. Kimberly Schwandt, a producer in FNC’s Washington bureau, is helping to organize the event.
Former Clinton press secretary Joe Lockhart has RSVP’d to attend.
