Fashion! Turn to the Left. Fashion! Turn to the Right.

New York is one big fashion show this season with two exhibitions focusing on what to wear if you’d really like to make a statement at the next design conference.

“The Fashion of Architecture” pairs architects like Zaha Hadid, Shigeru Ban, and David Adjaye with innovative fashionistas liks Martin Margiela, Kei Kagami, and Pia Myrvold, to show how their worlds of forms and materials are colliding. One UnBeige tipper called this exhibition “the perfect marriage.”

“Fashion in Colors” organizes 60 costumes from the past 300 years by color to show how social perception of shades has affected their use (yellow was once seen as the color of heretics–sweet!).
