Eight Aides Reporters May Want to Know

Democratic Communicators Network elected eight new board members, the group announced Tuesday. Known as DCNet, it’s a professional association for House and Senate press and media staffers.

New members of the board are:

1. Maureen Beach, Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer (Md.)
2. Ellis Brachman , House Appropriations Committee
3. Andrea Helling, Sen. Jon Tester (Mont.)
4. Tali Israeli, Rep. Allyson Schwartz (Ill.)
5. Will Jenkins, Sen. Jim Webb (Va.)
6. Jessica Kershaw, Rep. John Boccieri (Ohio)
7. Matt Thornton, Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (R.I.)
8. Hillary Wicai Viers, Rep. Charlie Wilson (Ohio)

Meet them tonight at their Hacks & Flacks cocktail party at Top of the Hill from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. All press secretaries and reporters may attend. “The more the merrier,” said board member Thornton. Party organizers include: Ryan Rudominer, Brad Bauman and Erikka Knuti.
