Daily Caller Advice Columnist Does Dream Interpretation

Chances are high that Labash consulted this
dream reference book before penning his response
If you are really fond of Wired‘s Spencer Ackerman (a.k.a. “Attackerman” or “Hackerman” as he’s dubbed by Daily Caller advice columnist Matt Labash), you might not want to read this. On the other hand, if you don’t have strong feelings about the ex-Journolister or don’t yet know him well, you might want to get a taste of Ackerman’s comic book style personality by way of Labash.
Daily Caller blogger Jim Treacher (real name: Sean Medlock) writes in this question: “Spencer Ackerman has me cornered in an alley. Somehow the alley is composed entirely of glass. He is wearing a Black Flag t-shirt and nothing else. Could you please interpret my dream?”
Labash goes into a detailed personality interpretation, he calls Ackerman the embodiment of “spittle-flecked, finger-sniffing bloggerhood” and claims being a Washington blogger is something like being a phone-sex operator.
In the end, he admits, he may not know everything about dream interpretation…
An excerpt:
I’m not a dream interpretation expert, of course. You might want to run this by Hackerman himself. Though he doesn’t seem to be answering many questions lately, not since his Journolist bleatings were released. Instead, these days he’s pretending that he’s a buttoned-up national security reporter for Wired magazine’s website. Some critics think he should be fired due to his history of intemperate outbursts, poseur thuggishness, and all-around crappy writing. I don’t. Wired is a reputable organization. They presumably have an able staff and a good health insurance plan. So here’s hoping they can give Attackerman something he’s desperately needed: mood stabilizers and an editor.
Noteworthy: Labash, apart from his advice column gig, is a longtime writer for The Weekly Standard. Fred Barnes is executive editor of The Weekly Standard — Ackerman plotted against Barnes on Journolist.
What did Ackerman write on Journolist while working for the Washington Independent? Refresh your memories after the jump…
> Update Can’t get enough? Listen to Ackerman speak in this must-see video here. The bar gathering resembles a hippy convention — do not miss the guy with deceptively long strawberry blond sideburns in the vicinity of Ackerman’s head.

From The Daily Caller‘s story on July 20, 2010:
In one instance, Spencer Ackerman of the Washington Independent urged his colleagues to deflect attention from ObamaÂ’s relationship with [Rev. Jeremiah] Wright by changing the subject. Pick one of Obama’s conservative critics, Ackerman wrote, “Fred Barnes, Karl Rove, who cares – and call them racists.”
