Cover Battle: The New Yorker or The New York Times Magazine

Welcome back to FishbowlNY’s weekly Cover Battle. This week we have The New Yorker versus The New York Times Magazine. The New Yorker went with a fantastic and realistic illustration of a skier. The only thing missing is a cast wrapped around at least one appendage.

The New York Times Magazine went with a photograph of a man who looks to be taking advantage of the oil boom in North Dakota. Either that or he’s just a dude who has never taken to showering.

So readers, which cover is better? You can vote, comment, or do both.
