City's Top-Rated Network Skips Presidential Press Conference

ABC TV, the city’s top-rated network, once again gets a boo-boo. Earlier in the month, ABC alienated victims’ families by announcing that they would not air the full September 11 ceremony live. Instead, ABC decided they were going to go the ratings route, airing ”Live with Regis & Kelly,” ”Rachael Ray” and ”The View. All of ABC’s ” lower-rated network competitors, by contrast, agreed to air the ceremony in full. In the end, ABC caved and aired the ceremony.
