City of Burbank Stonewalling Burbank Leader on Bonus Info Request

Burbank city officials are calling efforts by the Burbank Leader to uncover information about bonuses given to city employees “specious” and “illogical.” The Leader sued Burbank last February to get access to the information, after repeated public info requests were ignored. You’d think in the wake of the Bell scandal, a lawsuit would give the city enough enough bad PR to turn over what is clearly public information. But, with its latest rhetorical flourish, Burbank looks like it plans to keep putting up a fight.
