Bloomberg's Odd Google Appearance
FishbowlNY has learned that Mayor Michael Bloomberg had visited Google’s offices in Chelsea on Thursday morning — to deliver a speech decrying America’s immigration party.
The New York Sun, the only local newspaper to cover the event (alongside a five graf short in the NYDN), reports:
America’s immigration policy is “the craziest thing in the world,” Mayor Bloomberg said during a visit to Google’s 300,000-square-foot offices in Chelsea early yesterday. “Everybody else is trying to get the best and the brightest and we’re trying to keep them out,” the mayor said.
