At a Glance: Today's Front Pages

A look at what made some of today’s front pages.

On the 11th anniversary of 9/11, NYT didn’t run a single story on its front page. The centerpiece was an article about the teachers’ unions strike taking place in Chicago.

WSJ took a similar route. It led with the strike and nearly not a single mention of the 9/11 anniversary on its front page. Except (!) an ad at the bottom of the page by Citi bank that says “In rememberance, 9/11/01.”

Third time’s no charm.
