The New York Times spoke to Condé Nast artistic director and Vogue editor Anna Wintour about the future of the publishing giant and she did not disappoint.
In the piece, Wintour was equal parts blunt and hilarious. She dismissed changes (new editors, layoffs, Details shuttering) as merely necessary evils. “Those who want things always to stay the same are not living in the real world,” said Wintour.
When the Times asked for her reaction to staffers’ claims that working with her could be difficult, Wintour asked if the Times was a tabloid paper.
“I don’t believe in wasting anybody’s time,” explained Wintour.
