Abrams Names Hardball's Haddad As MSNBC's D.C. VP

SECAUCUS, NJ — July 27, 2006 — Award-winning broadcaster Tammy Haddad has been named Vice President, Washington for MSNBC, overseeing political and election coverage for the network from MSNBC’s Washington office. She will also continue in her role as Executive Producer of “Hardball with Chris Matthews.” The announcement was made by Dan Abrams, General Manager of MSNBC. Haddad will report to Abrams.
