Team USA represents more than the accolades they collect, and a new campaign—“We Are Team USA”—from the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) highlights the diversity of athletes’ lives, showing them as “record-breakers” and “history-makers” as much as athletes, bakers, artists, musicians and activists.

In the new spot, Team USA players speak in their own voices about their individual passions, underscoring their roles as representatives of American achievement and ambassadors of the nation’s diversity.

The “We Are Team USA” short is backed by the song “The Greatest” from the New Zealand band Six60, blending footage of record-breaking athletic moments with parenting, peaceful protest and baking.

In the 100-day lead-up to the Tokyo Olympic Games, USOPC is unleashing athlete-focused social media content and the #WeAreTeamUSA hashtag.
