Using a brand faithfully doesn’t necessarily qualify you to be a spokesperson. In this case, however, the experience might really come in, uh, handy.

Grooming and lifestyle brand Manscaped has tapped comedian Pete Davidson for a four-year brand partnership deal. But based on the 30-second spot announcing the new team-up, things aren’t off to the smoothest start just yet.

The announcement shows Davidson—who is also an official shareholder in the company—trying his hand at a new, improvised tagline.
