AAPI Creative Spotlight: Josh Paialii Is Ready to Inspire the Next Wave of Creative Storytellers

The group creative director intimately understands the power of culture nuance

Leaders from Glossier, Shopify, Mastercard and more will take the stage at Brandweek to share what strategies set them apart and how they incorporate the most valued emerging trends. Register to join us this September 23–26 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Before becoming group creative director of The Many in Los Angeles, Josh Paialii was a professional Polynesian dancer.

“I always had a passion for creative storytelling, the sharing of cultures and inviting people to watch and experience something entirely new to them,” Paialii told Adweek as part of the AAPI Creative Spotlight series created in conjunction with Asians in Advertising.

Paialii was able to apply that passion to “Traditions Shared,” a brand film The Many developed and produced for Panda Express to celebrate the 2021 Lunar New Year.
