Petco Pushes Its Membership Plan With Petconomics

A new campaign focuses on Vital Care benefits

Americans increasingly view their pets as part of the family, but providing them with the best care is expensive. Now, Petco is positioning its Vital Care membership program as a solution, with a new “Petconomics” campaign spotlighting the discounts it offers on key products and services.

In fact, according to Petco svp of omnichannel experience Jenny Wolski, members can save between roughly $320 and $404 each year.

“Over the last two years, families around the country have welcomed millions of new pets into their homes, and with inflation impacting all Americans’ everyday lives, our innovative Vital Care program is fundamentally changing the way people care for their pets’ health and wellness while keeping their wallet healthy, too,” she added in a statement.
