Talk about competition in advertising! During copytesting recently for Jordan McGrath Case & Partners Euro RSCG’s new spot for Zest Body Wash, Brad Frank, brand manager at Procter & Gamble, and Melissa Schulz, vice president, account supervisor at JMCP, New York, made an unusual bet.
If the scores were higher than average, Frank would run the Stockholm Marathon with Schulz.
The results? Frank lost and is training for the 26.2-mile marathon, which comprises two laps around the Swedish city and occurs on June 3.
“He’s actually happy about it now,” said Schulz, who said she was planning to run it anyway.
