New print ads designed to draw tourists to Wyoming are reminiscent of the colorful illustrated posters of the late 19th century.
The ads, created by Denver agency Barnhart/CMI for the Wyoming Business Council, Travel and Tourism Division, are designed to communicate the natural wonders of the state.
One ad shows illustrations of some of the state’s key attractions, such as Devils Tower, Grand Teton National Park and Flaming Gorge. The headline reads, “Man-made amusement parks have always left us scratching our heads in Wyoming.”
