Winsper Launches Ads for U.K. Brewery

BOSTON J. Winsper & Co. is launching the first major North American ad campaign for U.K.-based Young’s Brewery.

Ads from the independent shop in Providence, R.I., roll out next month in Ale Street News, All About Beer and other specialty and connoisseur publications. The budget was not disclosed.

Print touts the availability of Young’s product lines (including Oatmeal Stout, Double Chocolate Stout and Special London Ale) in four-packs. One execution employs the headline, “Leave it to the British to find a new way to contain themselves.” Creative director Steve Bautista oversaw campaign development and wrote the copy. Bob Clinton handled art direction.

“This effort reinforces our position as one of the only U.S.-based agencies that has a practice in luxury marketing for both domestic and international clients,” said shop president Jeff Winsper. “Having an internationally renowned specialty beverage account builds our credentials in the category.”

J. Winsper’s client list includes Raytheon Aircraft and Store 24/Tedeschi Food Shops.
