LOS ANGELES Western Union said it has selected four agencies to compete for its advertising account.
A Western Union representative confirmed that the agencies under consideration are Omnicom’s TBWA\Chiat\Day, San Francisco; Interpublic Group’s Campbell Mithun in Minneapolis; Publicis Groupe’s Leo Burnett in Chicago; and Bartle Bogle Hegarty in New York, also partly owned by Publicis. The two-year incumbent, WPP’s J. Walter Thompson, Chicago, will not participate.
Presentations will begin in the next few weeks, said client rep Danielle Pereira.
