The activity follows a string of disappointments since January, when the shop failed to retain $30-million MGM in a review won by Foote, Cone & Belding/L.A. It was also cut from the Savoy Pictures search and lost the Orion pitch.
WRG currently handles about $22 million in billings. The 12-person entertainment unit will be retained until they land another entertainment account, Macedo said. ‘We’re actively trying to maintain a presence in this marketplace and we have no intentions of discontining that goal.’
