Target's limited-edition designer collaborations can always be relied upon to create buzz, but the store's recent collection from preppy-chic brand Lilly Pulitzer elicited something closer to mass hysteria. Chances are that by the time you're reading this, most of the brightly colored goods—including everything from bathing suits and tote bags to nail polish and barware—will have already sold out (and been re-listed on eBay at astronomical markups). Designers on Instagram $20

The Council of Fashion Designers of America's new book, Designers on Instagram, pays homage to fashion's obsession with the social platform with a collection of more than 250 photos chosen by CFDA members including Diane von Furstenberg, Marc Jacobs and Michael Kors. Divided into appropriately hashtagged categories like #Inspiration and #BehindTheSeams, the book also features a foreword by Instagram co-founder Kevin Systrom.

Kartell Madame Chair Price TBD

Mad Men may be coming to an end, but you can keep the series' mod style alive at home with Kartell's Madame Pucci collection. The Philippe Starck-designed chairs are upholstered with one of four limited-edition Pucci prints, each depicting a different fashion capital: Paris, Rome, New York or Shanghai. While the chairs won't be available in the U.S. until September, Manhattanites can get a sneak peek at the Kartell store in SoHo beginning on May 15.
