After an absence of more than two years, Kristin Volk will return in mid-April to the Arnold network, serving as chief marketing officer of Arnold McGrath.

In the newly created post, Volk will oversee new-business efforts, as well as strategic and account planning for the New York office. “We wanted to do a more effective job of marketing our creative and strategic capabilities to prospective clients and existing clients,” said Stephen Badenhop, president of Arnold McGrath and Volk’s new boss.

Volk left Arnold in Boston in late 1999 to join Kathy Kiely, formerly evp, director of business development, in launching a Boston office for Deutsch.
