It didn’t take long for Velocity Advertising, the agency launched by Lisa Hickey late last year, to pick up a client that can provide it with a creative showcase.
That client, retail clothier Bob’s Stores, last week hired Velocity for broadcast creative chores and Cleveland Communications for media buying. The Meriden, Conn.-based retailer has spent about $5-6 million annually on advertising in recent years.
The client also considered three other finalists for its broadcast creative: Clarke Goward and Connelly Partners, both in Boston, and Nova Marketing in Quincy, Mass.,
