After Ditching “Rising,” the Airline Taps Fallon and Y&R for Ideas
CHICAGO–United Airlines is testing new advertising messages from Fallon McElligott and Young & Rubicam as it looks for a successor to its maligned “Rising” campaign, sources said.
Within United, reaction to the test campaigns has been mixed; none were considered to be home runs, sources said. One disappointment was that both concepts failed to connect with the business travelers United has been courting in its 3-year-old “Rising” campaign, sources said.
