If you work in Manhattan, you’ve probably noticed the colorful cows that seem to be everywhere.
Welcome to CowParade New York 2000, featuring more than 500 life-size sculptures decorated by New York artists and displayed, from June 15 to Sept. 3, around town. Each cow has a “sponsor,” such as New York shops Griffin Bacal and The Bravo Group.
Griffin Bacal designed a “clean-energy” cow, to be found at Seventh Avenue and 56th Street. Like a bus, the statue is painted yellow and has solar-powered red lights.
