CHICAGO Allstate Insurance has named Joseph Tripodi senior vice president and chief marketing officer.
Tripodi, who most recently served as CMO at the Bank of New York, will start at Northbrook, Ill.-based Allstate on Nov. 3. He joins the company as its agency, Publicis Groupe’s Leo Burnett in Chicago, is at work on a new image campaign, which will break in the fall, a Burnett representative said on Wednesday.
Burnett’s most recent work for the company depicts a person’s hands acting out metaphors for the company’s various products on a tabletop.
