On this week’s episode of To Dine For, host Kate Sullivan is joined by Blake Rockwell, founder of Special Spectators.

The completely volunteer-run nonprofit profoundly impacts the lives of seriously ill children and their families by creating memorable VIP all-access game day experiences at sporting events. Since 2002, they have hosted more than 10,000 patients along with their parents and siblings at nearly 500 games, mostly college football.

In collaboration with major universities, Special Spectators creates inspiring memories for kids dealing with cancer, major cardiac conditions, organ transplants and other life-threatening illnesses. They host the ultimate Saturday experience including access to exclusive hospitality areas with visits by student-athletes, cheerleaders, mascots and marching bands, special locker room hours to meet coaches and players, and stadium announcements.
