Gish, Sherwood & Friends in Nashville, Tenn., has won the Tennessee Lottery’s ad business, the client said. The shop bested Archer Malmo Tombras, a partnership of archer>malmo in Memphis, Tenn., and The Tombras Group in Knoxville, Ky.; and the Strategic Marketing Alliance, a partnership of Mercatus Communications and Webster & Associates, both in Nashville, and O’Neil Griffin Bodi in Manchester, N.H. Billings for the new assignment are estimated at $20 million. The lottery, which launches in February, said a budget has not been determined and will be based on sales.
