ATLANTA — Work has won the creative portion of Super 8 Motels’ national advertising account, the client confirmed. The Richmond, Va. agency participated in a review against several undisclosed agencies. According to sources, the incumbent, Grey, New York did not participate. Grey’s Mediacom, also in New York, retains all media planning and buying responsibilities for the brand. The client spends approximately $12 million in media, per CMR. Super 8 Motels, a subsidiary of Cendant Corporation, is headquartered in Parsippany, N.J.
